		<description>Not quite right - KDE, XFce and probably CDE also (although I've never used that one) have separate window managers, too. The KDE WM is called KWin and the XFce WM is called XFWM. Both DEs allow you to replace the WM, and both WMs can be used outside the DE. KDE is harder to do this with, given its high degree of integration (more Windows-like, to follow your description above), but XFce and XFWM are only loosely coupled. I've used XFWM in Gnome and ROX before now, for example.
