Of course. Playing with search terms will change the results. Using the term ‘Vista’, though, turns up a lot more than just Windows Vista. So I wanted it to be as accurate as possible.

But as mentioned in the post, this shouldn’t be taken too seriously. It’s merely for fun and games. Good to play with, and see what turns up though.

As much as I like those results, I thought the exact same thing Christer thought, even testing it before I read his comment. Results: Vista comes out on top. Still, it’s exciting to see Ubuntu explode like that. Very promising.

I should point out that the results will change depending on the specific phrase that you use. I wonder if the mac results would change if using ‘mac’ vs ‘mac os’. Also, what are the search results for ‘Vista’ vs ‘Microsoft Vista’?

I don’t want to discredit results–I love what I’m seeing–just wanted to point out that they will be very keyword specific.
