1. roses, dark_winter or spring (all by me, first one published on irssi.org)
2. I've personally tuned them from existing skins (en, hukkka) to suit my own purposes and they match the colors I usually use on my desktop themes

I use laaama-2 from http://irssi.org/themes . The screenshot there is rather funky, having a background picture, but it works well without one too. I use the Tango colour scheme in gnome-terminal. The irssi theme is rather minimal and unobtrusive.

I use two. My favorite is a modified version of "Industrial" (I changed the timestamp to somethhing more sensible, removed the unessisary : from the prompt, removed the [industrial] bit from the status bar, and a few other tweaks)

I also use liten, which I think I might have changed slightly.

I use them both because they are fairly simple, both easy to read, and I like the look of them.

For my main IRC (idling :P) client, I use liten, and on the same machine I run another instance of irssi connected to Bitlbee for MSN Messenger - Which uses Industrial.
I also have a client on another machine for my new site's local IRC.
They could probably all go into the one client, but I prefer having them seperated.

Links to the original themes:
http://www.irssi.org/themefiles/liten.theme
http://www.irssi.org/themefiles/industrial.theme

Screenshot of both (Running in iTerm, connected to a remote machine)
http://img169.imageshack.us/img169/6487/irssiswh7.png (Don't particular like ImageShack, but it's handy)

I would upload the modified versions but the changes are very small, the biggest one being the timestamp format to [18:54]

Not really part of the theme, but an important visuals, but the nickcolor.pl script. [ http://www.irssi.org/scripts/scripts/nickcolor.pl ]
