Now I just wish they would stop thinking they know better what I should send and what I shouldn’t. I /want/ to occasionally send executables, and I /want/ Google to stop looking into my zip files. I /do not want/ to have to encrypt my archives every single time they see fit to reject my attachments
Also, they should really stop replacing “ and ” when I send e-mails from the web…
But then, they never ever reply to bug reports, so what do I expect.
IMAP’s a good thing though!
IMAP was the only thing that was missing in gmail. The best thing now is that I can sync my gmail account with my iPhone! I saw a video tutorial and it’s so easy! If you guys don’t know how, here is the link: http://www.weshow.com/us/p/20767/set_up_gmail_imap_for_iphone
gmail for the win! lol
They couldn’t be bothered with correctly implementing the RFC, though. They don’t quote “[Gmail]/All Mail” in STATUS replies, which breaks my client (and it’s not up to the client to fix it, in my not-so-humble opinion).
Just heard about it the other day and hacked some basic muttrc to try it out. Slow would be a word for it, but then I’ve never used imaps. Cool nonetheless!
