Sorry for the delay on getting around to this, but OpenID support is back up on my blog. I downloaded this plugin from the official WordPress plugin repository, which is an update of Will Norris’ plugin, which was forked from Alan Castonguay’s abandoned plugin.
At any event, users are encouraged to use OpenID when commenting on my site, as I take great pains to make sure that the next time you comment, you will bypass my spam filters. If there are any questions, please don’t hesitate to place them in the comments below.
UPDATE: In the latest version of this plugin, you can check a box that will enable bypassing spam filters out the gate.

Hrm, I just tried to log in with my openID (http://tieguy.org/ which redirects to myopenid.com), and I still got flagged as spam.

Bypassing spam automatically just because a user uses OpenID is not necessarily a good thing.
I’ve seen OpenID Enabled, and even Jyte spammed, by dummy accounts.
Not to mention, they weren’t even jkg.in/openid/ accounts, they were notably Spambot MyOpenID accounts.
Food for thought.

@Luis Villa- There may be bugs about. Working them out…
@Jason- Yeah, I’m aware of that. However, it currently isn’t a problem on my blog, so I would like to reward users for using the service. When it becomes a problem, then I’ll address it when that plane lands.

Aaron, are you still using OpenID?
(Also, I’m commenting to test my own OpenID delegation, which hasn’t seemed to be working.)
