You’re “so proud” of her. What on earth for? She is not your possession to be “proud” of. She is your equal. Would you say such a thing about a colleague? Your so-called “pride” is insulting. Promote your wife, sure, say you’re impressed, fine, but don’t be “proud” of something you had nothing to do with. Have a little respect instead.
