It was an SVG that was rather small. I just opened it in the GIMP, made it massively large, seeing as though it’s scalable, converted to jpg (as that’s what the uploading mechanism wanted), and it took.

Where did you get the image for your card? My bank says it should be at least 2625×1680, but I cannot find ubuntu logo that big.

i didnt say it was ‘illegal’ use. But so far in my experience companies tend to have boilerplate clauses in their terms and services which drastically limit whether you are allowed to use trademarked material as a customizable image in situations like this even if the trademark is being used legally.

I’m surprised that your bank’s policy with regard to what images doesn’t cover trademarks at all.

The capitalone imagecard policy prohibits trademark logos..unless its a capitalone partner’s trademark.

Might want to use black bars next time for blocking your card number. Blurring it or turning it into a mosaic makes it fairly easy to guess the number. Awesome looking card though. I wish my bank did that…
