I stumbled upon Garret LeSage's Blog, and found that 4 new themes have been uploaded to the official Firefox addons site: Tango, Tangerine, Gnome and Industrial. What I really love about these themes, is how well they integrate with the Gnome desktop. It almost feels now, that I am using a native Linux application, rather than an app that has been ported to Linux, which ultimately, is how Firefox has always felt to me.
The icons help establish a standard for theming that establishes a consistent look and feel for Open Source applications. These 4 Firefox themes are part of the Tango Desktop Project to help establish that standard, and all 4 are compatible with Firefox 2 and later (I haven't tested them with versions 1.5.0.* and earlier).

A brief summary of each theme is as follows:
Tango: Icons from the Tango Desktop Project for a consistent user experience for free and Open Source software with graphical user interfaces.
Tangerine: Icons from the Tango Desktop Project. It is a variant of the "Tango" theme for use with Ubuntu themes.
Gnome: Icons from the Tango Desktop Project. It is a variant of the "Tango" theme for use with the GNOME default icons.
Industrial: Icons from the Tango Desktop Project. It is a variant of the "Tango" theme for use with Novell's Industrial look.
If you ask me, and you're a Gnome user, there is really no other reason to use any other Theme with Firefox 2. Thanks Nico Kaiser for making these available.
